Evolution controversy erupts

The operative word here being "may"...still, some very interesting stuff. Although the evidence that multiple hominid species existed several million years ago I've always felt that the substantial commonality, anatomically speaking, of the gens humanis is a strong indicator that we evolved from a single direct line over a relatively short geological time period. I think that the fossil record has been a strong indicator that human evolution evolved along the lines of punctuated equilibrium.

Good thing you are married! ;)

The find of the 1.8 million year old skull sure causes some problems for the cultist who try to twist the bible to support an argument that Noah's flood was local and happened when all humans lived in the same location. :)

why?.....there were humans before the flood, there were humans after....or did they find this skull on top of Mt. Everest?......

Remarking on it. When I was a Christian I was taught unkind remarks about others looks are a sin.

why do you assume it was unkind.....he was not ugly...he just had a shallow brow....

is it unkind to post this picture on the internet?.....am I un-Christian because someone took his picture?....

They found it in the country of Georgia. A long way from Africa. Your rewrite of the biblical myth, which is no more plausible than the original, depends on humans all being in the same general location.
