Maybe to someone who hasn't studied human anatomy.have to agree....there's a fellow in church with a sloping forehead that could easily pass for a neanderthal.......

The operative word here being "may"...still, some very interesting stuff. Although the evidence that multiple hominid species existed several million years ago I've always felt that the substantial commonality, anatomically speaking, of the gens humanis is a strong indicator that we evolved from a single direct line over a relatively short geological time period. I think that the fossil record has been a strong indicator that human evolution evolved along the lines of punctuated equilibrium.

The find of the 1.8 million year old skull sure causes some problems for the cultist who try to twist the bible to support an argument that Noah's flood was local and happened when all humans lived in the same location.
Speaking of Neanderthals....how you been doing Freak? Holding up well with Darla being banned and all?Or he could have simply been in Ohio.
:blush:Good thing you are married!
Yes....there is....it's about an actual scientific controversy regarding human evolution and not a religious one.Is there a point to this thread?
That wouldn't bother him. He'd approve of the free lighting. You are such a bad Christian, you are lucky lightening doesn't strike you in church.

FTFY.It's Friday, he probably is going to club a baby seal or two over it!
No, not really. So it really should be in a different category, its not a political controversy, right?

I'm a bad Christian because of the shape of his skull?......
Remarking on it. When I was a Christian I was taught unkind remarks about others looks are a sin.
why?.....there were humans before the flood, there were humans after....or did they find this skull on top of Mt. Everest?......
