That was ballsey last night...

It was very cool, every time an R stood up to obstruct or delay they were shot down, stone cold shot down!

Now for the fixes that the Cons say cant get done.... Then a Republican controlled congress for Obama to run against, and the rest is history!

don't get too excited, you and I both know they wanted the public option more than Tiger woods likes chicks on the side. It's a small step.

I agree, and without the Public Option, its not a great bill, but its a HUGE state.

What did Neil Armstrong say....

This vote speaks volumes for repubs. Not one person broke ranks to vote for the public good. Not one repub looked at the bill and thought he could support most of it, if not all. This doesn't make them stand-up legislators, IMO, just a bunch of toadies marching in lockstep and afraid to defy their party bosses.

It will take 20 years, but much like how the Conservatives did not support Medicare, womans sufferage, Civil Rights, and social security... they will try to keep it secret that they did not support this!

LOL. It speaks volumes about the Ds, the only bipartisanship on this bill was the "no" vote. Unfortunately the "win" for the President outweighed what was best for the nation. Drive that wedge in further.

and that's why their popularity is in the teens, cons are sinking like a cargo ship hit by a uboat.

You keep saying this, but in the generic Congressional ballot they lead the Ds in the polls. You are freaking just making crap up.

That repubs think only they know what's best for the nation is disingenuous.

the crybaby whaling is very predictable, it's exactly what I expected.
But funny as shit none the less. Kinda Denver Bronco like

It will take so much time it wont matter, but this will be considered a great turning point in American History.

The Republicans of 2030 will talk about how it was a long time ago and the party was different back then, they will say they would never vote against such a thing in modern times.

Did you not pay attention, all Americans lost any chance at any healthcare last night, tomorrow we will start dying of things like chicken pox and scarlet fever.

ABSOLUTELY!!

And Republicans seem to think pointing out how their party is filled top to bottom with good little automatons who do exactly what party leadership tells them, and not what's best for their constituents.

In the wake of Massapocalypse the Democrats had to either adopt an extremely balsy strategy or fold. It really was no longer an option to pretend that the Republicans would work with us.

This getting shit done is kinda fun, now that the Democrats have balls... whats next?

Zap you've said this several times now but have yet to show one example of a Republican who voted against this going against the will of their constituents.

And I notice you didn't comment on the thread/discussion last week when Obama and the DNC threatened Dem politicians with witholding support in the upcoming election if they didn't vote with the party for this bill. That seems a strange move for a party you claim thinks for itself and doesn't act in lockstep.
