Executive Order #13524

Well this is disturbing news indeed.

its unbelievable....and just today jarod was moaning about how bush stole our freedoms etc....

what is the purpose of granting an international police agency total immunity or am i reading this wrong....are you aware they have an office in the DOJ?

Actually, I did know they had an office in the DOJ, I'm not sure why or how I knew this...

I, for one, would like to know why an international law enforcement agency, assisting a court we as a nation are not a signatory to has been elevated to a status above our Constitution on U.S. soil. It makes me wonder, is this a precursor to Obama subjecting the United States to the jurisdiction of the ICC?

I am not one who has ever bought into the whole NWO idea, but I have to say, things like this do make me question my own opinion.

It depends what exemptions are present in the articles mentioned.

It essentially eliminates the ability for Americans to hold Interpol agents accountable. We no longer have the ability to access information from Interpol via a FOIA request.

Interpol agents are now free to act in the US with complete immunity.

Both of the above were exceptions that Reagan spelled out so that Americans would have access to the information and be able to hold Interpol agents to the same level of standards as the FBI and other American law enforcement agencies.

the act ^

at least the way i read it, maybe i'm wrong, obama takes away the exceptions to immunities from 2(c) and pretty much grants them full immunity

Property and assets of international organizations, wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.

reagan did not allow interpol to have those immunities listed in 2(c)....obama has given them those immunities

Then my rage towards this administration shall know no bounds.

the effect of the amendment would be to make them immune to search and confiscation. 2C specifically speaks of the archives of international organizations.

Section 3 deals with tariffs and duties on imports, Section 4 deals with income taxes due on incomes earned in the US by foreign diplomats (apparently we will now be taxing Interpol agents)......Section 5 deals with Social Security withholdings....Section 6 deals with property taxes due to the District of Columbia.....

a bit confusing though.....between the two orders I think there is a triple negative.....not sure if they used to be taxed and now won't be.....or weren't and now will be........

I am looking for something... anything... to show this is a hoax. If this is real, then the collective rage of this country should be raised against this administration. The Patriot act was bad enough... this is quite frankly... an outrage.

Especially given the fact as the link I posted states...

It does mean, though, that Interpol officers would have diplomatic immunity for any lawbreaking conducted in the US at a time when Interpol nations (like Italy) have attempted to try American intelligence agents for their work in the war on terror, a rather interesting double standard.

Especially when viewed in conjunction with the brief the admin sent the supreme court in support of the no standing right not to be framed stance.

anyone should clearly understand that as a socialist/communist politician, Obama is all for an ever increasing and completely unaccountable police force.....unaccountable to all except him. So, by restoring these immunities to INTERPOL, he will soon have his civilian security force that is not constrained by the constitution.

This is what Liberals want, that's why you're not hearing about it.
