LOL, my sentiments too. I may even vote for the SOB next time around. It's just too much fun watching CNN (which occurs only occasionally at airport lounges or the gym) degenerate from a left leaning but judicious news show to a full time anti-Trump tamtrum.
Every now and then I catch Brian Williams in the position where he should have been all along - a squawk box for a coup. They'd like nothing better than to get rid of Trump without considering what they get next.

Well unlike you I will withhold judgement until at least 100 days have elapsed. But I must say it is enormously entertaining watching otherwise sane people go completely apeshit. It is like a form of collective hysteria usually found in young teenage girls.

They did the right thing, unfortunately Republicans didn't. This was an appointment by Trump because her family donated millions to Trumps campaign.

I agree. I can deal with the distance between Pence and Trump on some core policy agenda if in exchange I don't have a President who is a total disgrace and embarrassment. We have a clown in chief who is in so far over his head he'll get the bends if we pull him up, and Putin controls his air supply. Not to mention we won't have a freaking giant wall project and a thoughtless trillion dollar infrastructure line item without first deciding what to spend it on. Trump ran on a mishmash of Fox News induced hairbrained schemes: Love with Putin, giant wall, gratuitous torture, mass deportation, Dirty Harry police attitude in the face of mounting criticism and abuse events, massive import duties with largest trading partners, dismantle NATO, banana republic style bluster rhetoric towards enemies, wrest healthcare from 20 million poor people... Whatever Pence would bring would be better than this shitshow.
