Externality Taxation: The Marxist Wet Dream

Too funny! This isn't economics. This is a Leftist propaganda term used to legitimize taxing the laws of physics. Humans cannot get around physics so if physics can be taxed then Leftists have hit the mother lode. The Democrats have already tried taxing nature in Maryland by taxing rain! Imagine, every time it rains, having to cut a check to the government! Democrats in the Maryland State government were orgasmic over their rain tax until the actual residents of Maryland who had to write the checks told their representatives that if they didn't repeal the rain tax that they wouldn't be reelected. But that was only a temporary defeat. Democrats continue to pursue excessive taxation in the hopes of finally destroying capitalism once and for all.

"Externalities" is the Leftist's wet dream, the legitimization of taxing the 2nd law of thermodynamics by claiming that energy used to deliver goods and services is no longer available for others or for future generations ... and that someone needs to compensate (similar to "reparations") humanity for this loss ... in the form of a tax payment to the government, of course. "Externalities" carries the brilliant side benefit of allowing the government to levy the exact same tax onto the manufacturer/producer, all middlemen/retailers as well as the consumers without having to point to anything specific beyond the fact that the products were obviously produced and the services were obviously rendered. Also, any time the government's thirst for additional revenue kicks in, the seriousness of "energy depletion" can be hyped, capitalism can be publicly denigrated (followed by a series of reports by the MSM on the urgency to dissolve capitalism before we reach the tipping point although it might already be too late!). For any government's pet projects, energy "shortages" can be announced, accompanied by steep increases in the externality taxes. It would not be a stretch for a government to pull an "energy pandemic" hoax if the stakes were high enough.

"Externalities" = legitimization to tax physics and to give government the absolute power to destroy.

You need help.

The Nazis had the same kind of Capitalism we have.
1) There aren't differing flavors of capitalism because sound economics is sound economics.
2) The NAZIs did not have capitalism. They had centralized planning and administration of the entire economy under Goering, which is undisputed, documented history ... yet you deny it. You are a history denier, probably a Holocaust denier as well.

Most businesses were private,
#Totally_Irrelevant_Buzzword_Misusage

The entire NAZI economy had to follow all of Goering's central planning and governmental mandates, regardless of Wikipedia's insistence that many businesses were "private." Businesses were not free to privately pursue anything that was counter to the plan and/or counter to what business was tasked to accomplish. Saying that the businesses were nonetheless "privately owned" is completely immaterial. It was socialism .. pure Gentile-flavored socialism.

... but I totally acknowledge your denial. I understand why you are required to deny history. You are required to believe that the NAZIs were "right wing." You are not allowed to understand that the NAZIs were socialist Leftists like Bernie Sanders, Kamalalalala Harris, the DNC, Venezuela's Chavistas, etc..

You can say that all you want, but that won't make it true.
The Nazis didn't have a central planned economy. Most of the businesses were private, much like in America.
Socialism is collective ownership. If it didn't have that, it didn't have Socialism. Stalinist Russia and its puppet-states also didn't have Socialism.

So in other words, businesses in Nazi Germany had to follow certain regulations.... like in every country.
If you're going to say it was Socialist because of that, alright, but in that case every country since the beginning of humanity has been Socialist.

At most, you can argue that as a Dictatorship, the Nazis could enact regulations much quicker. Whereas the checks and balances of America make it harder to do so. But, again, regulations do not equal Socialism.

Saying that modern Democrats are similar to Nazis is "Hitler Ate Sugar" at its worst.
And I don't mind accepting that the Left has bad ideas too. I don't want Socialism, Communism, or Anarchy. To me, those are left-wing systems that just wouldn't work well. But I care about truth, so I'm not going to lie to myself about the Nazis being Socialist, Communist, or Anarchist.

Hahaha... yep. It's not "cool" anymore to attack migrants (too brown, sounds racist) any more, so the Reichtards have reverted to calling everyone who doesn't goosestep along with them "Marxists," "commies," "socialists." The fascists cannot exist w/o enemies to scare each other with.

And yet the "NOW" thing is to attack and discriminate against White Conservative men, amirite?

You can say that all you want, but that won't make it true.
Correct. It's simply true on its own, not because I have any magical superpower to make things come true.

The Nazis didn't have a central planned economy.
They absolutely did, it is thoroughly documented and I explained why you are forced to deny it. Next point.

Socialism is collective ownership.
Nope. That's communism. Socialism is central government planning and control. You have had plenty of time to read all that in the Communist Manifesto to which I gave you links.

So in other words, businesses in Nazi Germany had to follow certain regulations.... like in every country.
Nope. They had to serve the state, and could only pursue their private interests with permission from Goering. This is all richly documented and you have had plenty of time to independently verify.

Saying that modern Democrats are similar to Nazis is ...
... is totally accurate. From the brown shirts to the socialism. It has also been spelled out for you and your denial is immutable.

The Left no longer has any good ideas. Everything about the Left is tailored to destroy capitalism, abolish individual rights and freedoms and to install an omnipotent and punitive government. Currently all the good ideas exist on the Right. Sorry.

I don't want Socialism, Communism, or Anarchy.
Bullshit. You support it thoroughly. You have not written a single policy position of yours that supports a strong economy or individual liberties and freedoms. Everything you have posted is in support of tyrannical socialism by oligarchy while totally denying such.

Hilarious giggle giggle giggle, Externalities are costs that energy companies create and pass on to the people. https://energycentral.com/c/ec/externality-avoiding-fossil-fuels You are wrong. Read and learn. No, I will not respond to your crazy conspiracies.

A "rain tax" is really a stormwater fee.

According to Wikipedia:

A stormwater fee is a charge imposed on real estate owners for pollution in stormwater drainage from impervious surface runoff. This system imposes a tax that is proportional to the total impervious area on a particular property, including concrete or asphalt driveways and roofs, that do not allow rain to infiltrate.

We have this fee in my area, too.
