Extremely high heat in the South....Was this caused by Man-Made gases and Cow Farts?

Wow, #TriggeredTerryO'Brien is really on a tear this morning. If you're going to let me live rent-free in your pointy head, Terry, could you at least clean up around here a little? All the empty beer cans, pizza boxes, swastikas, spunk-covered Trump posters, and roaches are pretty gross. No wonder you're involuntarily celibate. :rofl2:

I'm going to disagree but only because I have a degree (or two or three) in the sciences and I've read a lot of the science and it lines up with how physical systems work.

I'm sure you have your reasons for not believing the science. What are they?
I can hardly wait to see the intelligent, well-reasoned and well-researched response. lol

So, when faced with what is literally mountains of actual science . . .

FAKE science.
You left that part out.

And besides, if you really have real degrees, you would know that authentic science always questions established norms and continues to test and evolve. People like you accept faux science like a religious doctrine. You don't question, you kneel down and worship. You have allowed political ideology to corrupt science. That's what the APA did when they removed same sex attraction from the DSM. They allowed political ideology to corrupt science.

"Pop culture"? What the hell do you mean by that? Those articles were from what was reputable magazines, papers and "experts."
We were all supposed to be dead by now if you listened to those "science experts" from the 60s. Why ain't we dead?

Those ancient articles prove nothing. Science is often wrong but self-correcting. I could post screenshots of articles and ads with actual physicians advocating that tobacco is good for us. Do you think anyone today believes that smoking is good for us?

I noted that when I actually discussed science you ran away. Why is that?

They prove that climate science isn't accurate, and we ain't dead yet.
Smoking is another topic.

Was it also crap science that many loon libs like AOC et al kept saying the world will end in 9 or 10 years due to extreme man made climate
disasters?

I never will find out. I was killed in the pollution caused Great Global Winter of the 1970's, all the rage back when I was in high school; or was it the Great Ozone Hole Death Spiral? Anyways, I was killed along with the entire planet several times by 'climate' change since the 1960's.

Your articles are older than dirt. My analogy is accurate. The whole point of science is to understand, explain, and utilize knowledge we've gained. We often get things wrong at first, but as technology and research improve so does our understanding. We don't know everything -- yet -- about atmospheric science and how the myriad components of weather interact to create climate. We do have good data though going back over 150 years that clearly shows a warming world with temperatures increasing faster than expected and first predicted. We can measure the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases human activity has put into the atmosphere, and we can tell via repeatable lab experiments and observation of climate that our species is accelerating this process.

I don't understand your and the other deniers' rationale for pretending 1) climate change isn't happening, 2) and that humans have contributed to it. Why? What's in it for you? Why have you politicized it?

Maybe, but it also proves science isn't always correct.? The few heat records we've broken over the last several years were set back as far as the 30s.
There's no way we can measure the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases human activity has put into the atmosphere without factoring in volcanic and other natural forms of "greenhouse gases."

It's been shown that the earth's climate has been changing for hundreds, even thousands of years.
What caused, then melted, the ice age? Lots of creatures have gone extinct before the industrial revolution.
Nothing's in it for me. I am not politicizing it, it's the left who are politicizing it.
CA has banned push mowers and weed whackers. Talk about politicizing it...

No one said it was. But science is a whole lot more likely to be correct than just your guess.

This is a common mistake among the non-scientists. The peaks ain't the important bit: it's the overall trend which has been steadily increasing EXACTLY as predicted.

Yes we can. Isotopes. 13-C and 12-C in the atmospheric CO2. Interestingly enough as CO2 concentration increases the 12-C (lighter isotope) of Carbon is enriched which is, again, exactly as one would expect from the burning of gigatons of fossil fuels.

Besides humans produce 100X more CO2 than volcanoes. (You surely don't think we have no clue how much CO2 we generate, do you?)

It's been shown that the earth's climate has been changing for hundreds, even thousands of years.

And it is because of THAT science that we know the CURRENT warming is not dominated by natural forcings but is dominated by human activities.

If we didn't know as much as we do about the past history of earth's climate we wouldn't understand that important fact.

What caused, then melted, the ice age?

Orbital obliquity.

Lots of creatures have gone extinct before the industrial revolution.

Politicizing it is the only way to force people like you to do the right thing. People like you who have no science but think you disagree with science you don't understand.
