F**k the NFL

"100% fault of the NFL?"

Two weeks ago less than six players knelt, yesterday, the majority of all players, now what do you think happened that changed the scene, and it is the NFL's fault?

The President managed to take the one thing Americans enjoyed together and turn it into divisive issue, that's making America great

The NFL has demonstrated their solidarity with the BLM movement which is a racist terrorist organization based on the proven lie of hands up don't shoot, fuck the NFL.

NFL ratings are starting to improve despite distractions
October 10, 2017

NFL ratings won’t necessarily spend the whole season on their knees.

This year’s football season got off to a disastrous start by any measure, but a close look at the numbers shows that viewership has improved with each successive week — to where it is down 7.2 percent through Week 5, a crunching of Nielsen numbers by The Post reveals.

That’s an improvement after weeks 1 and 2, when cumulative viewership was down 12.3 and 11.5 percent, respective, from last year, as games faced disruptions from hurricanes as well as mounting distractions from the spectacle of players kneeling in protest during the National Anthem.

“The sky definitely isn’t falling,” a TV sports executive told The Post. “The narrative for this season is by no means written.”

For the season’s first 31 national NFL telecasts — excluding just this week’s “Monday Night Football” game — viewership has averaged 15.4 million.

The Nielsen numbers from the latest MNF were not released at press time.

Viewership numbers relative to last season improved each week this season, according to Nielsen.

Fuck the NFL?

Naw, fuck you.

Nearly 2 million people streamed Thursday Night Football on Amazon

Nearly 2 million people logged onto Amazon.com for the online retailer’s first livestream of Thursday Night Football, the U.S. National Football League said on Friday.

Some 1.9 million people tuned in to Amazon’s kickoff show and game between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, according to the NFL. That compares to 2.3 million for the first digitally streamed game last year on Twitter Inc., which had the online rights at the time.

But viewers watched the broadcast for longer on average on Amazon. Its average worldwide audience for at least 30 seconds was 372,000 people, compared with 243,000 on Twitter for the first game last year, the NFL said.

Streaming live sports is a new, integral part of Amazon’s strategy to encourage more people to sign up to its Prime shopping club and spend more on retail goods.

Ratings for NFL on FOX continue to show improvement

That supposed boycott of the NFL because players are kneeling during the national anthem is really hurting the NFL’s media partners. And by really hurting their media partners, I mean ratings are going up . . . so it’s not hurting them at all.

Sunday’s NFL coverage on FOX is the network’s best singleheader telecast since 2015: http://foxs.pt/2yRluG5

Fox is leaving out Week 1, which had some pretty poor ratings, but there’s a huge reason for that: Hurricane Irma. An entire portion of the country was without power and any games with their teams involved weren’t able to be viewed. That and the hurricane news drove viewers to places like the Weather channel — I am not kidding. Fox’s numbers are even better in Week 2-4 in national games.

Updating with nationals, NFL On FOX viewership is now up +3% over last year for Weeks 2-4. Impact of Irma now more clear than ever.

Fine, doubters are going to say that the rise is year over year, and last year we had an election. Well, debates don’t go on for multiple weeks or happen on every Sunday. That would be a long debate, or we’d get sick of hearing the same thing every Sunday. Apparently, we aren’t as sick of football as some on social media like to say we are.

The controversy that had to do with players taking a knee during the anthem happened over the weeks when ratings have actually gone up. Despite what some may tell you, boycotts aren’t having an intended effect — that’s if we believe people are actually doing what they say they’ll do on social media — and ratings are improving for the NFL as the season moves along.

Still confused about why the NFL gave Trump the finger with a big FUCK YOU?

TV Ratings: Patriots Bring Welcome Lift to Sunday Night Football
OCTOBER 23, 2017

The New England victory over the Atlanta Falcons is the NFL's best primetime showing since week one.

The score, an improvement of nearly 16 percent from the week before, represents the league's best primetime showing (across any network) since the first week of the season. That's a feat it managed in spite of the fact that The Walking Dead returned to AMC on Monday night. It's also a 9 percent lift from 2017. Thank Tom Brady and his Patriots for that. The team has proven itself capable, time and time again, of pulling in a big crowd. (The Patriots also won the game, with a not particularly competitive score of 23-7.)

League viewership is down roughly 7 percent heading into week eight. Unfortunate, to be sure, it's still a much better position than the NFL was in this time in 2016. Halfway through that season, ratings were down double digits from the year before.

To be honest I don't care if NFLers or MLBers protest - that's their right. I like to watch football, just not the NFL. I get my fill on Saturdays and on Sundays I'm footballed out - that's the biggest reason I don't watch it, and I have better things to do on Sunday and Thursday nights .
If the college players or MLBers protested it wouldn't faze me in the least. I don't even care what they're protesting. I just wanna watch some good ball.
Harvey Weinstein made some damn good movies. I wouldn't deprive myself of good entertainment just because of who produces them.
I miss watching the O'Reilly Factor when at the gym. His behavior was despicable and he deserved to go but the show was damn entertaining and I'd still watch it if it were on.
I own stock in R.J.Reynolds. I can't stand to smoke, I know it's highly unhealthy, but it's a damn good stock and I won't deprive myself of investing toward a good retirement because of that.

I have no intentions of 'proving' anything to you Mr. Krinkles. Feel free to believe whatever you want.

If it's OK with you, I'll believe the facts .. the NFL is down about 7% .. not 30-40% that would give your mindless rant any validity.

7% .. which is in line with the overall decline of all major sports. Fox News may not report that, so of course you wouldn't know.

You also probably don't know that the NFL has essentially told Trump to fuck off. No demand to stand .. and in fact, has given many concessions to their players. I know, you don't have a clue about that either.

13 days .. what has changed? :0) Scroll up a couple of posts .. dated TODAY.

NASCAR would like Trump's ass squeaky clean .. yet they are in a free fall with ratings. sponsors, and attendance. MLB down, NHL down .. did your Orange leader tell you why?

You haven't changed dude .. still goofy as ever.

N' I don't plan ta change either Black Coal Feller.

Let some time pass and see if the anthem protests have a profound effect on the NFL over time.

I bet they do and not a positive effect.

Socialists, (like you), who worship murdering Marxists like Che Guevara, n' want the USA to be just like Venezuela, haven't got much of a bidness sense or any respect for history. (BTW: Socialism always fails).

That all said: the NFL deserves the decline headed their way.

Jus' stay tuned, the NFL ship is takin' on water.

burp...
