It's when a woman says something is sexist and a man comes along to explain to her what sexism actually is and is not, and why what she finds sexist isn't really sexist at all.
 
That's its most narrow definition. It's how it's mostly used on feminist blogs. I mean, you can have fun with it, I do. And this is how the urban dictionary defines it:

Mansplain

To explain in a patronizing manner, assuming total ignorance on the part of those listening. The mansplainer is often shocked and hurt when their mansplanation is not taken as absolute fact, criticized or even rejected altogether.

Tom, I have had my fill of MRA's. I'm really not interested. I couldn't be less interested.

Hook up with some other guy here with a chip on his shoulder and a long list of how the world gone done him wrong and I am sure he will be riveted. I'm not the man for that. I don't belong to that club.
