Relax Failias. There will always be minimum wage jobs at fast food joints for trailer park residents like you. That might be true in an America 20 years ago, but we are living in a new world order
Why not? Musicians make that much.
that's crap. every person applying has the option of accepting the pay or not. if it's too low, they can counteroffer. If it's turned down, they can find employment elsewhere. there is no such thing as a fair days pay, never has been, never will be.Like fuck they don't. They owe you a fair days wage for a fair days work in safe working conditions. Lassiez-faire capitilism has went the way of the communism and the DoDo bird. Get used to it.

Fair wage for fair work... Your work is worth exactly what somebody is willing to pay you. The work of these people is worth somewhat less, I know I used to be one.Like fuck they don't. ...or learn a more profitable skill....but hey....it's their fight and their right. Best of luck to them.just think....instead of protesting they could have used that time to go out and look for a better job......
True but in this case it causes me no pain to support their strike and not cross their picket lines cause I aint eating that shit anyways!I worked minimum wage jobs. But after I proved my usefulness, I got a raise. Then I found a job that paid more. I learned more skills and eventually I started my own small business by sub contracting and then eventually building my own customer base.
Everyone starts somewhere. Some people start further ahead than others.
The point is that people have to improve their skillset so they are more employable. Challenging your employer to pay you more than you're worth or find someone else is not a great strategy if there are hundreds of people ready to replace you.
Depends on the musician. Same with cooks. There are guys who flip burgers and play the kazoo and there are guys who cook chateau briand and play Chopin. So it' snot a false equivalency. But being a skilled musician takes a significant amount of time and skill. Fast food work does not. False equivalency.
It appears they don't agree with you.And that's what they get.
That's not true. I don't care how skilled or valuable your work is. There are plenty of people more then willing to pay you nothing for it. You'd better learn that fact fast son if you ever expect to make a decent living. It's a two way street.Fair wage for fair work... Your work is worth exactly what somebody is willing to pay you. The work of these people is worth somewhat less, I know I used to be one.

or machines....but whats your point. If they want to fight for their share of the pie more power to them. I wish them luck. It's their right.
back in the day when most politicians, democrat AND republican, weren't corrupt and accepting huge sums of lobbying money to bend the law in corporate favor......BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN!!!!!Ah...yes, let's reminisce! I remember the days when hard work was rewarded with raises and promotions, when employees were valued, and when employers showed a little compassion for their employees as opposed to hoarding and maximizing all their profits.
