Yes, the cult has a die hard faction of around 35 percent who will worship Trump even if he is convicted of 34 felonies, defrauds his own charity, sexually assaults women, and asks high school girls for dates.

National polls have never been fiction but rather measured approximations of coming events. And there is no evidence the likelihood of Trump losing changed in the days before the 2020 election to the likelihood of Trump winning. As to that, incidentally, it is known that when Trump met with his advisers on the eve of the election he was told the outlook was "grim". The election then unfolded as predicted. The "fiction" in this case was the fever dream caught by you and so many others.

In 2020, one of the things the MSM was widely doing was mis-reporting the polling and potential election outcome out of wishful thinking and using propaganda to sway voters. That is, they wanted the Hildabeast to win and were spinning the news to make that outcome appear to be a certainty. They could not imagine a Trump win, so they simply willed it away. At the same time, they slanted the news to heavily favor the Hildabeast over Trump. This really hasn't changed as of today. Right now, the MSM is still well over 90% producing negative stories about Trump and what he's doing.
