Earlier this year, federal law enforcement officials asked former President Donald Trump to better secure the storage room at his Mar-a-Lago resort where he was keeping presidential records -- and his staff complied by putting a padlock on the storage room door.

However, the Wall Street Journal reports that when FBI agents searched the resort earlier this month, they found national security documents outside of the designated area that Trump said he had secured.

Specifically, writes the Journal, agents "found highly sensitive and classified documents lying in unsecure places outside the storage room."

basically, hillary did the same with her email server, so maybe trump was just careless and not negligent. As a 3rd party advocate, I say keep the pressure on. move forward indicting trump for doing something that hillary did, but got away with it. watch the bullets fly.

Why didn't Trump prosecute her? He had a revolving door of AGs looking for Yes Men. WTF happened? Yes, Hillary should have at least been censored for her actions, if not prosecuted.

How does that justify Trump keeping our nation's top secrets in a storeroom accessible by several people?

Yet medical personnel have been fired for forgetting to lock their computer screens when reviewing their patient's medical information when they leave their station. I know of at least two of them -- one a nurse, another a physician. Then there's these assholes. Most of us agree that national security information is a bit more dangerous to reveal than some individual's diagnosis. Too bad you treasonous trolls do not.

Yeah, right. #TRE45ON does not listen to advice because in what passes for his mind, HE is the smartest one of all, smarter than doctors, generals, career pols, other "businessmen," etc. Nope, that's not why he didn't prosecute Hillary. He didn't because even his loyal lapdog Attorneys General had no prosecutorial legs to stand on. Clinton did not remove classified material to her personal residence where it could be accessed by anyone. She did not refuse to return classified material in her (illegal) possession. She did not keep classified material -- or any other documents rightfully belonging to the United States -- once she left office.

Your #MalignantMussolini is going down on this one. Charges will be filed between election day and the end of the year, IMO.

Hillary was actually in office and supposed to have those documents, though she should have been prosecuted for her mishandling of them (something Trump never did). Trump isn't in office, and isn't supposed to have any of those documents, classified or not.

I am curious what paper documents Hillary had that were marked "Top Secret." Can you provide a link showing where that was ever shown to be true?
The fact of the matter is not a single electronic document Hillary had was marked "Top Secret" at the time it was on her server. Information in the emails was later deemed to be classified but the documents themselves were not clearly marked when she had them. If you don't see the difference between a paper document that clearly is marked "Top Secret" and an electronic document that has no markings then you must be a complete moron.
