FBI says ‘indicators’ of terrorism in downtown Austin mass shooting

So, I read the story to find out about the 'indicators' it might be terrorism. The shitty reporter writes about when and how the guy got here and became a citizen but forgets to include where he was coming from. It's bad enough today's journalists are mostly hacks, but they can't even do the very simple basics anymore. I don't know, it seems like that detail is something a person trying to learn all available information might want to know. I can't imagine that fact wasn't right there on the same page the reporter was looking at with details of his immigration status. Anyone else scratch their head on that little omission?
