Donald Trump reportedly pressed Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the Gaza ceasefire deal because the upcoming US President has important strategic deals to strike, one of which is the defence pact with Saudi Arabia.

I have heard it that Trumps representative ordered Netanyahu to agree.....after this same representative called and said he was coming to Israel to talk about the deal to which N said that he did not have time....."I dont give a fuck about your time problems, I am coming, I will meet you in your office" was the gist of Trumps guys response.
