Female GWB, Palin!

I was cracking up, turned on TV for the weather report, we have an ice storm, and who do I see on TV but Barbara Bush telling Sarah Palin to stay in Alaska! I couldn't stop laughing, and am still chuckling over it! It is the best thing Barbara has said in a long time!
The way the process is set up, it's almost impossible to get anything even remotely close to the best potential candidates running for President.
The people who SHOULD be running for office don't go anywhere near a Presidential race. You have to be an egomaniac, somewhat pathological & not really care about your family at all to enter the race these days.
It's a shame, but until the process changes, our political options will be the proverbial box of chocolates.

I see PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) is in full swing already.
Oh, no doubt. The idea of her as our President completely freaks me out, and unlike many, I do think it could happen.

If Sarah Palin is a female GWB, that would mean that despite all odds she'd be nominated, then she'd win in a controversial and contested election. Then, despite the controversy and the two wars she'd begin as well as increasing the debt she'd get re-elected with majorities in both houses for a short period...

All I intended was that she is basically not seperable from him politically.
Having had Jeb for a governor, I can say, I dont like his politics, but he would have made a better president than his brother did...
