I have been a fan of Youtube's pilot debrief podcast for years, I suggest anyone interested in the perils of flight, check out this channel. Time and time again our air waves are filled with underqualified whites with few hours of flight experience hoovering around us all.

Captain or not, as the person being evaluated, the instructor was in charge. As a Captain, she could assert rank but it's unlikely in this scenario.
