Physicist and Republican candidate for Congress in southwestern Arizona Ruth McClung is gaining ground on incumbent Democrat Raul Grijalva. The latest poll shows the race within the margin of error, with Grijalva at 40% to McClung’s 38%.

Grijalva is the Congressman who famously called for a Boycott of Arizona, over Governor Jan Brewer’s efforts to stop illegal immigration.

what's her plan? Lockbox? Is that supposed to keep the politicians from spending the funds? I doubt it would work.

Yeah, the TV in my workout room at work is set to Fox every morning, and they were talking about her. I was short on time when I posted this, and Google's first hit was a conservative blog, apparently.

The cool thing about a 28-year-old physicist, is that she can't be called "dumb," and then treated more negatively by everyone simply because she is a woman. Obviously, this thread is intended to be a humorous caveat to Darla's "Male Dumbasses" thread.
