Finding: Mr Pretti’s death was a homicide

Yes

Like most of the worlds population

WHERE THE FUCK IS THE GUN?
Just as I thought. This is a perfect example of how it's impossible to 'debate' with morons like this crazy bitch. No, most sane people do not think they murdered them. First you need to go back to grade school and learn about what it means to murder someone. Once you can admit that neither of them murdered anyone, we can proceed to 'where the gun is or isn't.' It's pointless to continue any debate with someone so stupid they don't know the meaning of the most basic words we must agree on in order to have a productive discussion. We can't let your feelings impact the meaning of words. Do I have to explain why?

That is not the location of the gun

I'm not certain that this shooting will be considered justified when it is all said and done. This one we may actually see in the courts. I watched the agent walk away with his gun, then watched two people shoot him and I am not sure if they were justified. While they may assume he may still be armed even without that gun, both his arms were being held when the bullets started flying and it will be difficult to understand how they thought there was imminent danger.
You had better watch the film again Damo. His left hand was on the ground and his right reaches towards his back waist band and then to his side with a dark object in his hand. We don't know if the shooting agent ever saw the gun removed from Pretti by the agent in grey.

It’s a crime

Even if it was caused by utter incompetence
Homicide is not always a crime. Ask Perplexity.ai if you don't believe me...

Here I asked, "Is homicide always a crime?" I give you a link to the result....

No. In law, “homicide” just means one human killing another; some homicides are crimes, and some are not.

When homicide is not a crime

These are typically called justifiable or excusable homicides.

  • Self‑defense: A killing can be classified as justifiable homicide if someone uses necessary, proportionate force to defend themselves or others from an imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm.
  • Lawful acts by officials: Killings carried out under lawful authority (for example, certain police uses of force within legal limits, or executions in jurisdictions that still allow capital punishment) are homicides but are not treated as crimes.
  • Pure accidents: A death caused without intent, recklessness, or unlawful conduct (say, a truly unavoidable freak accident) can be a non‑criminal homicide.

Not Pretti’s fault huh

They fucked up huh

Scurried away like rats leaving all the evidence unsecured

A FUCK UP AT BEST

They left the gun in a car seat instead of securing per laws

A FUCK UP AT BEST

Oh sorry I misunderstood thinking you said it was takenvfrom his phone

It’s not a gun

Do you remember the assholes here insulting it was a gun

No huh
I remember a thread about it, but I do not remember that ICE claimed that... because they didn't.

The list of things Desh claims ICE said but ICE has never said seems to be infinite.

Reaching for your waistband while scuffling with officers is ALWAYS a bad idea. They don't know if he was pulling a 2nd gun, and they want to go home at night.

Or even if it might have been a 2nd gun.

(It turned out to be his phone)

Well shooting an unarmed man is a screw up for sure but it may still be a justifiable homicide because it comes back to what the officer knows at the moment of the shooting. Not seeing the gun removed and then seeing an empty holster then seeing a dark object in Pretti's hand would make most officers fire their weapon.
