I didn't say that Trump requested 10000 guard troops on 1/6, I said he authorized 20,000 troops 3 days BEFORE the riot. What I did hear (once again, through FOX), was that Spence actually DEMANDED troops on 1/6 after the riot broke out. He didn't get them, did he? Have you seen the witless (yeah, I said witless) list for this dog and pony show? I haven't, but for it to be legit, it would have to include, at the very least, depositions from pelosi, Kash Patel, the DC mayor, chief of police, and the house of representatives sergeant at arms. In those depositions, the questions of Trump's NG authorization and exactly what intelligence those people received on possible attacks that was distributed by the FBI, would require an answer.

You may ask why this is important. Do you think we would be talking about 1/6 today if those rioters were facing 20,000 armed national guardsmen? At the very least, they would have been more behaved. As it stands, you jackasses now have what you think is the moral equivalent of the leftist carnage in the summer of 2020. Major fail.

But hey! We're not talking about hunter's laptop, the price of gas, inflation, putin, the supply chain, assassination attempts on conservative SC justices, baby food, immigration (fuck, hold on and let me catch my breath), and in general, this clown car of an administration's inability to get all it's shit in one sock. If this is true, why did the DC mayor and Pelosi refuse Trumps offer for 20,000 national guard troops? If Trump planned, assembled and lit the flames, why would he authorize the national guard, which was rejected by Pelosi and Democrats, to protect the capital given the same intelligence of possible violence.

What we now know is that they, Democratic leadership, didn’t like the optics. Optics is a political decision, not a security decision.

You will not hear any of this during this Clown show fund raising event. Those FACTS undermine the entire lie filled anti-Trump purpose of this committee.

Universal condemnation.

The downplaying of it by the right is the most shameful exhibition I've seen from either side in my life. Cheney is right - there will come a day when the cult leader will be gone, but the dishonor will remain for Republicans who are trying to curry favor w/ him.

This is not melodramatic or exaggeration: we could lose this republic. If you look at Trump's words and actions from late 2020 through today, every action has been targeted at undermining our elections, undermining the Constitution, and fundamentally changing the government of our country. And he has a large majority of a major political party helping him, as well as a major media outlet.

Don't disappoint me, righties. Post that devastating clip of Charlton Heston from "Planet of the Apes."
