There is nobody who thinks the senate will impeach the thief in chief. We know there is no Republican party. It is Trump's party and they should rename it the Trumpy Party. These guys have learned to swallow their pride and their values. Whatever Daffy wants, Daffy gets. He wants a vote against impeachment in the senate. They will give him that and say " I will have another". Trump runs them through the gauntlet.

Impeachment can only happen in the House. Only then would the Senate hold a trial, which like any trial has rules. Like no hearsay...

So. If Trump does not block the testimony of Repubs there will be great fun in the Senate. There were several in the House investigations who heard things first hand, not hearsay.
