First U.S. nuke plant in 30 years

(CBS) PEACH BOTTOM TOWNSHIP, Pa. They're on duty and fast asleep, security guards that are supposed to be protecting a major terrorist target in the United States.

CBS 2 HD's three-month investigation into the security gap at our nation's nuclear facilities yielded some shocking information and video, and now officials have told CBS 2 first that the contract with the major security firm that hired the guards will be terminated.

The video shows the inside of the nation's largest nuclear facilities. There are images of security officers responsible for protecting the plant against a terrorist attack, an attack that could kill or injure tens of thousands, including people here in our area.

But instead of being alert and prepared for anything, the officers are asleep and unaware a fellow guard is videotaping these disturbing images shot at different times of the day.

We better nationalize those security guards, that will stop everything, it will be the government so nobody will sleep, it will be against the rules!

Always jusp to an extreme in an attempt to undermine a reality there damo ?
Is this a strawman ? False outrage ? Or strawrage ?
Is there a name for this common tactic ?

I hope Texas approves it too. I have to say I have no issues with Nuclear power plants in other states.

The name of this one is "sarcasm".

And amazingly, only one person took nothing from the years we have spoken together, assumed it was actually what I believe, and answered like this.

Chernobyl had some problems that most reactors don't. The French use Nuclear power alot and their's seems to be the safest in the world right now. 80% of their electricity needs are fed by Nuclear power. Alot of that probably has to do with the fact that the centralized government is the one doing the building and they throw massive cash at building state of the art plants. But nonetheless they are state of the art and they work well.

I know that when Carter was president, California had a wind farm that was on the verge of providing enough inexpensive power for the entire city of San Fransisco, but under Regans energy policy it made more economic sence to shut it down and use cheap floriocarbons instead. So that wind farm was dismantled.
