Fl judge drug testing for welfare illegal!

I admit I am being a bit contrarion in this thread, I love drug users and drug rights.

But I hate takers.

Decisions, decisions.

There is absolutely no reason to drug test welfare recipients. none. what so ever. It is a violation on a persons right to privacy.

States that have drug testing have not found a significant (as in, less than 1/10 of 1%) number of state aid recipients using drugs. Therefore these sorts of programs cost more money then they could save, and that's before the 4A considerations.

Exactly, what a waste of resources. Test the Governor, not the poorest among us. Most of them can't even afford good drugs.

bullshit. the people on welfare are poor as shit. they will almost always be getting more than they put in with regards to welfare.

No one is forcing them to take welfare, the police aren't coming to their house to bust down their door without a warrant. To be drug tested the voluntarily have to submit themselves to it. it's tit for tat.

Children are to be drug tested? Elderly and veterans, too? All of them or just the mentally ill and physically incapable? Everyone on Medicaid? Just when they apply, super easy to get around, or regular testing?

There is absolutely no reason that the welfare agents need this information. They are not Law enforcement.Matter of fact the whole mandatory drug testing for anyone is unconstitutional as a violation to the right of privacy. The whole Police state business has gone to far and its time to fight against the right wing fascism coming from the Republican party.
