Florida's Snowflake Law

Bait = deception = you're a liar.

Thanks for the confession, Matt.

Feeling guilty for your deceptions are you? Simple solution:

Stop being a kenniving shitbag. Well, I realize that isn't your nature, but it is a viable solution for normal people.

Here's something just for you:

"16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

QED, Matt. Your choice to walk that path or not.

DeSantis has gone full snowflake in an attempt to protect the feelings of his delicate little flowering supporters:

"A bill pushed by Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that would prohibit public schools and private businesses from making white people feel “discomfort” when they teach students or train employees about discrimination in the nation’s past received its first approval Tuesday."

Death Santis is a kook, but I think the Defeated one will make quick work of him.

BTW the 2024 election comes around, the ex-Prez may not be in a position to do anything except scratch near his ankle bracelet.

Hello Darla,

It's really ...

The Whitewash Racial History Law

Bury the truth!

OP link:

"DeSantis said at the time, “You think about what MLK stood for, ‘He said he didn’t want people judged on the color of their skin but on the content of their character. You listen to some of these people nowadays, they don’t talk about that.’ ”"

Take a look in the mirror, Gov DeSantis. Pay particular attention to the 'content of character' part.

This is a divisive law meant to appease racists. If you sign this law you are supporting racism. That's not the content of character Florida needs in the governor's office.

It shits all over MLK Jr.'s legacy, I'll tell you that.

King was all about putting the facts of racism into the faces of Americans. His nonviolent protests were about challenging America to view the racist system. DeSantis wants to make that illegal, because he says the racism might make whites feel uncomfortable... King was willing to be beaten to make whites (and Blacks) feel uncomfortable, and realize they could not sit on the sideline with racism.

I doubt hard time, but then came Civil forfeiture laws and ATF mega-power in the 80s and 90s with the "War on Drugs" don'tcha know?

I mean, having weed has almost always been 364 days in jail max here.

One time I took 2 joints into jail with me because I knew I was going. In a cigarrette pack, because you could have those..

The man even looked at and sniffed my joint then put it back in the pack and said "ok"

Once on the other side, I blazed it up! ;)

Ok, so there was this really sketchy dude in the cell, he was all nervous and would not partake. He was going to the juvie side of things and that was bad..

Like Marianna n shit, so I can't say I blame him, but he was being a pussy about it. Worst thing to do is let them smell fear. :dunno:

I had me a buzz ;)

Back in them days? Shiet..we used to smoke alla time.

Somebody had something, always. A lot of times it was me from hustling up.

Is there something wrong with that?
Yes. The forfeiture laws were out of hand. Typically, it was for moving drugs, though. I once did a job at a closed airfield in the middle of nowhere. The Feds had all kinds of very expensive cars that were seized from drug dealers. They would use the old airstrips to practice high speed driving maneuvers.

Likewise with property. They were seizing homes from dealers, and said dealers would have to prove the property wasn't paid for with drug funds.

Good thing those days are long gone.

The law is spot on, like everything he does is. He is Trump without the emotional baggage.

What emotional baggage? The Democrats hate DeSantis almost as much as Trump.

I don't vote for Trump or any other conservative because of emotion. I vote for them and support them because it's time to uphold the Constitution.
