Your imagination is my laugh riot.
Let's see the evidence to the contrary.
Those laugh lines and crows' feet might be part of the reason ladies of a "certain age" enjoy enforced abstinence...just sayin'.
This is a classic case of letting the small things overcome logic. Some small portion may have that kind of cost if there were no safety nets available, but there are. The reality is there are myriad options available to the students, especially to those who have no earnings while in school. There are local clinics where the doctor's appointments would be scaled to income (and since they had none would be very cheap) as well as Planned Parenthood and other non-profits that would be willing to help.
The reality was there were options for these students other than $1000 per year, even if they were so unlikely and unlucky as to have to use that expensive contraceptive without any ability to use a generic or cheaper form.
To use this as a reason to put into place a system that the CBO now states will increase our debt by $1 Trillion over the next ten years is not logical when there were so many cheaper and wiser solutions available to us, none of which would reduce the 1st Amendment rights of the owners of the university even one iota.
I know who you are but you don't know who I am. I run into you in a grocery store
You jumped the shark with your first premise, and exceeded the bounds of possibility with the second.
Oh, do you need help with the definition of "scenario"?
