It just further proves to me that American are being dumbed down and always move against those who look out for them.

I think RSR and the other wingnuts would want to lead you to believe that but considering their propensity for believing what they want to believe as well as the facts I presented in my rebuttal indicates that this is not true at all. That by far and away most Americans prefer objective journalism to right wing propaganda. What the numbers RSR presented only proves is that Fox has a very dedicated viewer ship, which they do. If they think that Fox's high average viewer ship rating validates the belief that most Americans share their extreme right wing views then they need to look closer and more objectively (which we all know isn't exactly the strong suite of those on the far right) at the data cause their just simply wrong. RSR is a perfect example of that. He just cherry picks the data that validates his views.

It is really a dichotomy. On the one hand Menken was right when he said "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public" but on the other hand Lincoln was right when he said "You can't fool all the people all the time". Fox News certainly proves both adages correct.
