I am not supporting Foley. He is a homo who wrote a few bad emails. He lost his job. That is enough for me. No need to burn him at the cross. He didn't have sex with underage pages. It is a story blow out of porportion.

There is a SOL for civil cases in Florida, I am sure all states. There are ways around that however. I know of some cases where they used Repressed memory syndrome to get around the requirements of the SOL...

Very generally, in some circumstances, the SOL time period starts to run when the harm is known or discovered. Also I belive the argument has been used to say the SOL starts to run when the victim of sexual abuse turns into an adult...at 18.
