First Proud Boy to admit guilt is now working with the Feds.....

A New York man who was a member of the Proud Boys pleaded guilty Wednesday to obstructing Congress and conspiring to obstruct law enforcement during the pro-Trump riot on Jan. 6, a felony.

The plea is significant because Matthew Greene, 34, admitted coordinating with other members of the extremist group at the front of the Capitol mob, although there is no evidence he actually entered the building.

He is cooperating with prosecutors, Assistant U.S. Attorney Erik Kenerson said in federal court in the District, and will likely get credit at or after sentencing for that cooperation and for acceptance of responsibility. The government estimates non-binding sentencing guidelines of 41 to 51 months. Greene has also agreed to pay a $2,000 fine.

Greene is the first self-admitted member of the Proud Boys to plead guilty and agree to cooperate with law enforcement in the cases stemming from the riot. He is set to be sentenced on March 10.

And they'll send 5 crews out to cover a ragtag mob of right wing nutjobs standing on the corner screaming whatever slogan every time. Even on supposedly lib'rul NBC, people like Chuck Todd and right winger Alan Greenspan's wife Andrea Mitchell (as she totally ignores every upbeat story about liberal progress and pounces on a bad Biden poll number immediately). And CNN's Bull Shitzer repeats right wing dogma instinctively, never misses a beat. Fox now employs many ex-CNN newsparrots, Wallace being only the latest on (also Alisyn Camerota, Bill Hemmer, Shep Smith, Howard Kurtz etc etc) all went home to Fox. It's a natural digression......from basically right wing news/opinion, to definitely far right propaganda (most of it imported straight from Russia). If it wasn't for the few sane CNN hosts still there and for most of MSNBC's crew we'd be relying on C-SPAN and PBS to avoid Newspeak:

I was talking to a Conservative who worked and lived in Seattle, what she said is that what happens is that everyone talks to everyone else as if there are no Conservatives in Seattle, and as if they are the enemy, and dare anyone to disagree. Everyone who speaks up is harassed in the effort to convince them to keep their mouth shut from now on.

urban areas in the PNW are staunchly liberal, places like Portland and Seattle...........and sure, ya better not be wearing a MAGA hat and claiming Don is still pres, you'll be laughed off the sidewalk.......but not punched and kicked like a liberal in Tuscaloosa should expect
