For the anti-maskers, this is the real child abuse

You obviously didn't bother to read any of those reports. I've discussed the first at some length already. This is that one from Arizona:

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7039e1.htm?s_cid=mm7039e1_w

It covers a 14 day period and any outbreak of Chinese Disease where two or more cases occurred was counted as an outbreak. Variations in masking policies were not taken into account and no outside variables controlled for. It's a crap study.

The second is this one:

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7039e3.htm?s_cid=mm7039e3_w

At least this one admits it's not useful as a basis for decision making:

The third and final one has nothing to do with masking whatsoever:

https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7039e2.htm?s_cid=mm7039e2_w

So, there is no useful evidence that masks actually work or reduce the occurrence of Chinese Disease but rather two small studies that might indicate there is some utility but cannot be sure. That is, mask mandates in schools at this point are a SWAGPOOYA and not science.
Typical righty. https://today.duke.edu/2021/06/research-finds-masks-can-prevent-covid-19-transmission-schools There are plenty of studies showing they work. As a parent, I would want my kid and his school masked. I prefer safety over amateur certainty. Yeah, it is science and experiment that shows it.

Pascal's Wager fallacy. Studies are not a proof. Science is not a study or research. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. Buzzword fallacies. False authority fallacy. Supporting child abuse.

Fine mask your kid but don't tell me masks work and there's solid proof. There isn't. The amateur certainty is these crap so-called studies that get cited. There are few studies that actually look at masks versus no masks in Chinese Disease transmission and the few out there show they make next to zero difference. There are lots and lots of laboratory studies that say they work, but those are meaningless given the results of the studies in practice.

But like I said, wear one 24/7 if you want, just don't demand I wear one.

You can't cancel the N95 specification with 'studies'. Masks are completely ineffective against a virus. A study is not a proof.

It is a scientific study that accumulates numbers and draws conclusions from them. It is very strong evidence that a reasonable person would accept. They draw scientific conclusions that cannot be disputed.

there is clear evidence as the studies show. I hope you do wear one. It is safer for you and your family. I would have forced masking at schools. If you pick up your kid and step out of the car, then wear a mask.

I haven't worn a mask since day one of this nonsense. I've made a few grudging exceptions just to avoid conflict, but that's it. I'm not about to start now, and if you don't like it keep it to yourself.

Idiots like him will wear the damn things for the rest of their lives.
Such is hypochondria. Eventually the poor kid will reject him later in life, of course.

It is a scientific study
Science is not a study. Science is a set of falsifiable theories. Studies are not a proof. You are AGAIN denying the N95 specification. You can't cancel the N95 specification using 'studies'.
that accumulates numbers and draws conclusions from them.
What numbers? Where? Void argument fallacy. It is not possible to draw any valid conclusion from random numbers.
It is very strong evidence that a reasonable person would accept.
You don't get to speak for everyone. You only get to speak for you. Omniscience fallacy.
They draw scientific conclusions that cannot be disputed.
Science isn't conclusions, a proof, or a Universal Truth. Science is a set of falsifiable theories.

Unconstitutional. Paradox M. Paradox V. Void data. Supporting child abuse. Masks are completely ineffective against a virus.
