what is your firearm of choice?

If you want to debate the merits of 9mm vs 0.40 vs .45 ACP that is fine, I am just curious what others carry.

I have two weapons I carry depending on the circumstance.

Most often I carry my Springfield XDM 0.45 ACP. It holds 9 in the clip with one chambered. Very comfortable and not much recoil with the 3.8 inch barrel

For times when I have to be more discrete, I have a Ruger 380 that I can just throw in my pocket, even wearing shorts and nobody even knows it is there.

No gun grabbers allowed in this thread

I have a Ruger Mark IV 22 with a 6 inch barrel that is deadly accurate. I've used it for almost 30 years squirrel and rabbit hunting. I modified the front sight so I could aim finer with it. A squirrel's head is only so big. Would love to have one like is on your pic. Wonderful shooters.

That is a great gun but like you said I wouldn't relish putting that in my waist band.

I really love my Springfield. I really hardly ever know it is there and I think it has less recoil than the 9mm

Yes, it is the best shooting h a handgun I have ever owned. I have a friend that an XD and I like the way it shoots too. I also like the protruding notification letting you know there is a round in the chamber.

I need a really small, easily carried and easily concealed gun that isn't a chick gun. Any recommendations?

Some places let you rent a gun, to use on their shooting ranges, and they usually have several different kinds.
Go and experiment.
