For those of you that conceal carry

Yes, it is the best shooting h a handgun I have ever owned. I have a friend that an XD and I like the way it shoots too. I also like the protruding notification letting you know there is a round in the chamber.

Springfield XDM is one of the best weapons I have ever shot with

FUCK I NEED A GUN.

leaningrights gun looks cool

I need a really small, easily carried and easily concealed gun that isn't a chick gun. Any recommendations?

Start with a Ruger LCP 380

Great conceal carry weapon. Can just throw it in your pocket. And if you have never shot before I think it is a great place to start.

Can't go wrong with a good .22 to learn proper technique. JMO

You'll shoot your eye out, Grind!

Seriously, it's a really good gun that conceals easily but still has plenty of pop when you pull the trigger. Moderately priced as well.

Grind if you are serious about getting a gun, then I suggest you familiarize yourself with the different terminology.

Also don't get sucked into debates about "what is the best gun".

We all have our opinions

First is ask yourself what you want a gun for. Personal protection? Target shooting? Hunting? Etc.

Then find a gun that fits your budget and that you can handle. Then go shoot. A lot

dead serious about getting a gun. Massachusetts will probably fuck me over somehow though. You have to ask permission from like the town police chief or something and they can deny you if they are in a bad mood or if they just don't like your face.

Before you do anything read the gun laws of your state very carefully.

If you have never shot a gun before, do you have friends or relatives who own guns? See if they will take you to a gun range and let you use theirs and teach you proper safety and usage (assuming they know themselves)

Absent that, find a gun range nearby and go yourself. Some rent guns for the day. Depending on their staffing you could ask one of them to help you get started.

I would suggest starting with a .22 revolver. Very straight forward to use and not much if any recoil. Then work your way up to other calibers and semi automatics.

My personal opinion is people should start out on revolvers when they first learn to shoot.

i literally don't know anyone that has a gun. That's how it is where I live. If I told someone i had a gun they would think I was the antichrist.

Yeah I guess i gotta learn the ropes

I actually want a gun because:

A) it's always good to be prepared. I like the idea that if someone where to ever break into my place, that I wouldn't be a sitting duck. Obama wants me to spend thousands of dollars a year for health insurance or pay a 700 dollar penalty, well I see a 300-500 dollar gun as a great life insurance purchase. Maybe I'll never need it, but the price is cheap enough for that peace of mind

B) I am a staunch believer in the second amendment and I want to do my part in being an armed citizen. I find this to be every citizens duty.

C) I think shooting target practice could be fun and a good way to relieve stress.

D) I deal with shady people semi-often and sometimes am in shady areas. It'd be good to be strapped.

Same reason people have fire extinguishers.
It's better to have one and never have to use it, then to need one and not have it.
