There is only one thing he will do and only two outcomes. What he will do is the only thing he knows how to do and that is to be a asshole, When he testifies He will either answer with the truth and show the world what a total piece of shit he is or he will lie and go to jail for lying. Which he should be getting use to anyway because the got this pile of shit by the balls. This country can only gain by forcing this criminal to testify.
 
I do not think Trump can be forced. He is crazy enough to think his talking can be persuasive. He honestly believes he has power over the masses, not just his rubes. But, this would be under oath. he will not dare to do that. If he can't lie, he will not talk.
 
They can force every document that they in any way can find the slightest value and ask questions read right of his political and personal documents, he will plead the fifth and they will believe what the document says, There is no way he can hold back these documents.

Trump can't be "forced" to testify unless you want what is already very much a Kafkaesque - Stalinist show trial to become even more obviously so.

I have yet to see a single criminal charge against him so what are you fools waiting for since you have him by the balls?

Well then, taking that argument one step further... What's to prevent this if Trump can be impeached after holding office and be barred from future holding that office?

One party has control of Congress. They have sufficient control to get an impeachment and make a conviction. There is a Presidential election in progress and they find the opposition candidate to their party's onerous and of intolerable, to them, views on various issues. So, they hold an impeachment in the House and impeach this person, then try him (or her) and convict them barring them from holding the office of the President, thus shutting out the opposition candidate from being elected President.

If you can bar Trump from future holding office while not in office, then there's nothing to stop the practice being extended to someone seeking that office and being barred in the future from holding it even if they've never been elected to it.
