FORD, 11 Billion, 40 Electric Vehicles by 2022

It's strange that conservatives (in large part) have staked out this "pro fossil fuel" position when it comes to energy, and always knee-jerk react in a way that seems like they're actually AGAINST domestic, renewable energy sources.

Didn't those rocket boosters use quite a bit of fuel?
I wouldn't want to drive that many miles running on NG, there are too many idiots on the road. An accident would be catastrophic.

You may not want to but bus drivers do it all day long every ding dong day where I live. Never seen a problem based on volatility.
Gas is pretty farking explosive too, by the by.

It can't, just as no trucks could possibly work either, the batteries would be enormous.

Makes no difference.
No one is proposing using batteries to make 800 mile round trips.
That isn't delivery, it is long haul.

The local Schwann's delivery driver runs propane, I wouldn't want to drive that either.
And, it's not the liquid that's explosive, it's the gasoline fumes that are.

The need for trumpsters to be uneducated is amazing. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ks-largest-public-pre-order-yet-idUSKBN1ED1QM the battery semis are coming and on preorder.

Why are you so ignorant? No one is saying it is not a good idea or that it will not happen. They are stating (and even in the article you posted) they have to be tried to see if they work out. In addition, you can whine and throw your little limp wrists about all you want, the fact is we do not yet have the grid or infrastructure to handle every vehicle becoming electric. You are either delusional or one of those fucked up millennials that still live at home being supported by your aging parents. Dumb as fucking rock that is for sure.

Really Nice ... I still like my chances in 1/4 Mile ... ever go to Joliet race track or Autobahn in Joliet?

Both a really nice place to stretch it out.

The 427 FE Side-Oiler in that Cobra is pushing over 500 HP. It's backed by a close ratio Toploader and 3:73 gears in an independently suspended Jaguar rear. I'll take my chances any day.
