Ford lawyers say she is open to testifying, but not Monday

(CNN)Christine Blasey Ford opened the possibility she would testify before Congress about her accusation of sexual assault against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

An email her lawyers sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee said Ford "would be prepared to testify next week" if the senators offer her "terms that are fair and which ensure her safety."
The message came a day ahead of a 10 a.m. Friday deadline set by Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley for Ford to decide whether she would appear before a hearing he set for Monday.

Testifying Monday, however, "is not possible and the Committee's insistence that it occur then is arbitrary in any event," Ford's lawyers wrote.
"As you are aware, she has been receiving death threats, which have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family have been forced out of their home," the email said. "She wishes to testify, provided that we can agree on terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.

She doesn't set the time.

No one with any sense believes she's received death threats.
 
Sounds to me like a reasonable request.

MY GUESS: Grassley will deny it.

I hope that doesn't happen.

Got to be kidding, anyone who publically challenges the Trumpkins' understanding of the world stands a high chance of receiving death threats, but regardless, she has had to leave her residence, which in itself can be disorienting considering they have probably never been thru such an ordeal

And Grassley painted himself into that corner with a supposed deadline, now, given she is willing to testify and only requesting little additional time, he would look like he is rushing the confirmation, ignoring a women's request to be heard in a sexual assault claim, not good politically

It's not a corner. He gets to set the time. She can comply or she can shove it up her ass. Guess she wants to get her lies straight.

As far as the death threats, you have no proof just conjecture. She didn't have to leave her residence. If she left, she chose to leave.

Crystal Mangum and Tiwana Brawley made false claims to the police of a similar kind. We both know how they came out.

Some lesbian waitress made a false claim after having written a fake note on a receipt.

Interesting how all those lies are made by people on the left.

you should request an FBI investigation into her and her claims if you think she is lying huh

I don't need an investigation to know she's lying. No evidence to back up a claim proves it's false.
