If she acts like a credible witness, and has a compelling story to tell, I dont think Kav will ever be confirmed.

Conservatives have their strategy which is to shit out as many lies as possible, and hope no one calls them out on it.

That's been their strategy for as long as I can remember on internet message boards.

As I said before, a private citizen, one with no experience in the routine, appearing in front of a partisan Congressional Committee who litigate everything, to give testimony on a week's notice is inane.

Grassley knew that when he offered the invitation, and was thinking it was his way out, problem is now it has backfired on him, if he goes ahead it will be quickly framed to reflect that the GOP didn't care about giving a women's request to be heard in a sexual assault claim, as I noted, not good politically
