That's the question I keep asking. Not the clueless, "derrrrr....why wouldn't she report it right away?" I can't wrap my mind around why someone would do this. I think she is totally credible when she states that this has been the hardest 2 weeks of her life.

Then you admit you really don't want an investigation since you've already decided what you say an investigation would determine? Why do you argue for something that you admit you don't believe is necessary?

Have you thought through that answer carefully? I find that to be extremely unlikely - that she would just turn her life upside down willingly simply so one conservative justice nominee can be replaced with another conservative justice nominee.

This is hilarious.

Previously, your position was that there shouldn't be an investigation because there's no need, but then you turn right around and say that there's no way to determine if the accusation is false, and that the only thing that can make that determination is an investigation. An investigation I've been calling for this entire time.

So what's happening here is that you realized at some point in this debate that an investigation is really the only thing that can verify whether the allegation is false. So then you come out in support of an investigation, but make it contingent on my confidence that the investigation will show Brett is a rapist and has been lying this entire time.

Is your ego really that fragile?
