What’s Really Going on with Trump and the Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska?

When President Trump’s Treasury Department proposed lifting sanctions on companies tied to the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska in December Secretary Steven Mnuchin vowed that the firms would be forced to “significantly diminish Deripaska’s ownership and sever his control.”

But, the New York Times is now reporting that Treasury’s promises were illusory: “The deal contains provisions that free [Deripaska] from hundreds of millions of dollars in debt while leaving him and his allies with majority ownership of his most important company.”
 
This is a dark twist in a sub-plot of Trump administration’s love story with the Russia of Vladimir Putin. Deripaska has been called “Putin’s favorite industrialist” and also had contentious and longstanding ties to now-jailed former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. Manafort — who had received $10 million loan from Deripaska — offered to give the aluminum magnate “private briefings” on the state of the presidential race in the summer of 2016.

Manafort had $10 million loan from Russian oligarch: court filing

(Reuters) - A search warrant application unsealed on Wednesday revealed closer links than previously known between President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort and a Russian oligarch with close ties to the Kremlin.




In an affidavit attached to the July 2017 application, an FBI agent said he had reviewed tax returns for a company controlled by Manafort and his wife that showed a $10 million loan from a Russian lender identified as Oleg Deripaska.

The application to search Manafort’s Virginia apartment was granted, providing key evidence for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s indictments of Manafort as part of his investigation into Russia’s alleged meddling in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Mueller has been investigating the financial links between Manafort and Deripaska, a metals magnate who is known to be close to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Deripaska was among the Russian oligarchs sanctioned by the United States in April.

Comey hates Trump, because he was a controlling corrupt president, but that don't mean he is a Democrat!

He hates Hillary much worse! Because his allegations about the Clintons all turned out to be TOTAL BULLSHIT during the Whitewater hearings and blew up in his face, as he was a prosecutor in the hearings, and he was embarrassed as a loser in the case.

So he held a grudge for over 2O years, and it showed up when he was the Director of the FBI and deliberately contributed to Hillary loosing the election to get even with her, when he was the one to blame for his own failures to be able to prosecute the Clintons in the first place- AS THERE WAS JUST NO THERE THERE! Just as there was no THERE THERE as he attempted to ruin her chances to win the presidency in 2016.

For this, Comey was a Disgraced FBI DIRECTOR! Trump even used Comey's unethical attacks on Hillary just a week before the election, as an excuse to fire him, after Comey told him, "Thanks but no thanks", as Trump tried to corrupt him for his own purposes- the first week he was in office.

You can't just make this shit up- because YES, IT IS JUST THIS BAD- with both Comey and Trump! TWO FUCKING CONTROLLING CORRUPT REPUBLICAN LOSERS WHO TRIED TO USE THEIR POLITICAL POWER AND POSITION TO STEAL OR MANIPULATE ELECTION OUTCOMES.
