Share if you want. Where are you going, barbecuing, eating out, something else, seeing or making your fire works....

I hope everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July.
 
I have the week of, chillin with the farm and not going anywhere. Bought some rib eye steaks from Costco, will probably grill those, but nothing solid yet.

Anybody have a recipe they would like to share for that?
 
Going to visit some Illegals for the 4th (actually, the 7th) for some traditional Central American food. Hopefully, I can talk the sister-in-law to going to the Casino with me. :)

I'm looking forward to the Nacatamal. Made with Masa Harina, pork, peas, garbanzo beans, raisins and chunks of potatoes. Mmmmm yummy. (My mouth is starting to water right now)

Taco Bell is real Mexican and Latin food.
 
Okay, so far I am making a teriyaki steak and for me just the standard salt/pepper unless I think of something else.

And I'm making bloody mary's from scratch!

Don't salt your steaks while cooking them, it pulls the juices out. Use seasonings, but salt when they're done.
 
A couple with hang out with invited us for a BBQ for tomorrow. Probably steaks. Some beer.

Tonight we have fireworks in one town...tomorrow fireworks in another...and on the fifth...the big ones in Cranbury...just outside of Princeton. Huge display. Love 'em.

Then on Saturday we have another.

I love fireworks...LOVE 'EM.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th. This is one of my favorite holidays.

I love them as well, brings out the child in me.
