I disagree with many of the things the CIA does, but also agree with much of what they do. They have such a low budget, I really do not see how the USA could survive with them having 10% of the current budget. Their current budget is less than 2% of the defense budget. If you cut it to 0.2%, you might as well cut the defense budget to, without intelligence to guide it.
Given the importance of good intelligence, cutting the $15 billion CIA budget to less than $5 per capita would be crazy.
