Fox Says No To Obama

LOL

Fox decides not to join in the circle jerk with the rest of the networks to praise Obama. I love it.

Fox sticking with schedule instead of Obama

NEW YORK – The Fox network is sticking with its regular schedule over President Barack Obama this week.

The network is turning down the president's request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marks Obama's 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me." :cof1:

It's the first time a broadcast network has refused Obama's request. This will be the third prime-time news conference in Obama's presidency. ABC, CBS and NBC are airing it.

Where's the surprise?

Fox is entertainment, not news.

LOL

Typical idiot response, accuse everyone of listening, reading Rush Limbaugh and call them white trash. And I thought the term you people used was white niggers. I see white niggers everywhere.

"you people" who?

If you see it at all you see and hear it from white people .. some who consider it a term of endearment .. like Eminem.

Fox spent the entire night "covering" the speech, they just did not bring the speach live to its viewers... But they did not really need to hear it as they certantly dont care what he really said!

Except FNC did bring it live. Fox Network TV showed "Lie to Me" which is some sort of entertainment show.

Man, it is very difficult to get you to understand anything.

Fox News Channel covered it. They are on 205 right next to CNN on the Satellite TV I use, we watched it on that channel because of the "controversy" that they weren't going to cover it. Now Channel 31, the Fox Network carried "lie to me" because they didn't want to push off a live show (American Idol) because of timing issues.

One thing you need to remember is this was a press conference, not a speech. And the channel who says they are "fair and balanced" carried the press conference in its entirety.

Ah, the false lying rumors that go around. I savored every minute of it.....caught him in a few lies too.

Beat me to it. FOX network didn't cover, FOXNEWS did. That is where the coverage was, 'all night long.'

Nope .. which is my point.

Fox is the same targeted-audience entertainment that BET is.
So you're saying that the Fox entertainment channel is really White Entertainment Television (WET), or perhaps White Republican Entertainment Television (WRET)? Is that your position?

Nope that's your position.

BET is not targeted for just black people. In fact, I'm real sure more white people watch BET than Black people just as more whites buy FAR more rap music than do black people.

BET is targeted for those who like hip-hop music.

Fox Entertainment targets young Americans specifically regardless of race or political party.

Fox NEWS targets those who believe in right-wing/conservative/republican ideology. Fox NEWS is to news what the WWE is to sport.

...
It's curious that a network that calls itself "Black Entertainment Television" would appeal to whites. To me it sounds racist, and I'm not black or racist, so I've been skipping over it. I don't like hip-hop either, so it doesn't offer me anything, apparently.
