If the government shuts down...it will be obvious that Donald Trump shut it down to all people with a functioning brain.

If a new shut down occurs this week...it will be the "FAULT" of Donald Trump. There is NO WAY THAT I CAN THINK OF THAT IT WILL BE THE DEMOCRATS "FAULT."

If there is FAULT...it will be on Donald Trump (abetted by the Republicans in Congress.)

Let me lay my perspective out for you a bit more clearly.

Donald Trump is essentially saying, "I will shut the government down by refusing to sign appropriations or CR's IF THE DEMOCRATS DO NOT HELP ME KEEP MY CAMPAIGN PROMISE TO BUILD A WALL ON THE SOUTHERN BORDER." (Same bullshit as last shutdown.)

I think the Democrats would be insane to give in to that kind of demand...that kind of extortion. (They will not!) It will set a precedent that cannot be allowed to he set. If allowed, Trump could say, "I will shut the government down if the Democrats refuse to fund solid gold toilets for the private quarters of the White House." Or, I will shut the government down if the Democrats refuse to fund a gold throne for me to sit in...or refuse to fund a sign proclaiming the White House TRUMP'S WHITE HOUSE...or any of many other absurd things.

Okay?

The Democrats cannot give in to extortion. And if Trump carries out the threat of his extortion (shutting down the government) it will be all on him.
