He deserves no credit. He deserves no “attaboys.” He deserves no praise for doing only now, after peddling voter fraud conspiracy theories and encouraging a deadly riot in the nation’s capital, the bare minimum required of his office.

Trump deserves nothing but our contempt for having created and nurtured this national humiliation.

“Like all Americans,” the president said Thursday evening in a video address, “I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness, and mayhem.”

Either he’s lying, or he managed somehow in the course of 24 hours to take the exact opposite position he held Wednesday.


The president continues, saying, “I immediately deployed the National Guard and federal law enforcement to secure the building and expel the intruders.”

This claim also appears to be a lie. We’re not off to a great start.

Well for me, that is IMHO, I am not expecting him to have a conscience or anything remote....... He has none...

But like most I expected a certain level of decorum, civility & acting/playing the role, none of which he did.....

As I said, every time I can recall he has done this kinda thing, he has walked it back the next day, so if he is playing along just because of the outrage he has caused, it is better than the stupid angry orange ape throwing shit on the Nation, our government & the several million that did not vote for him......
