Let's say you got married and five years later you were diagnosed with MS (God forbid). And then six months after that your wife filed for divorce. If you were arguing with her about her action, I wouldn't say that you were at fault. You'd have a right to be pissed, and for your own mental health, you would be wise to express it.

Um... it is not a question of Gingrich's wife being 'at fault' for anything. A person can certainly be justified for being angry/pissed and expressing that to the person that caused it. That said, in your situation, if you came to visit me in the hospital to see if I was ok, I would probably be telling you to fuck off and listing the reasons why. You know what, he left one wife while she had cancer and another after she was diagnosed with MS. There's really no way to spin that, regardless of whether we were in the room and know what he said/she said.

I don't see how any of this even matters or why the right is getting so defensive. I don't think Newt can become the nominee. I have read he doesn't even have the delegates in place. And he's got the entire Republican establishment against him. It's still going to be Romney from what I can gather.

Newt's a slime, women know it, but he's never going to be President so who really cares? You can swing a dead cat in any club on any give night and hit nine more just like him. They often have a white band of skin where their wedding ring usually sits.

Neither you nor his wife know his intent on why he went there. The fact his wife made comments that he did not contradict doesn't mean affirmation.
