That is the text book definition. Liberalism has morphed into the state knows what is best for you. You need big government to take care of you from cradle to grave. Welfare is a prime example of liberalism creating a government dependent class. It has destroyed the black family. Fathers cannot live with the family or they lose their benefits. You do realize that many welfare recipients know how to game the system they work just enough to keep their benefits. I have a niece who investigates welfare fraud. So if you don't mind I will listen to her as opposed to some leftie who has swallowed the liberal bull hook line and sinker.
