Just a reminder, while Gaetz claims it is not illegal to pay for sex... Technically it usually is illegal. And given that he has very little money of his own, it may well have come from campaign money.... Using campaign money to pay for illegal activity is a bigger crime.

If Gaetz is sane, he is no longer thinking about his political career, and instead trying to figure out a way to minimize his prison time. And we see some sign of this that hours before the story broke he was trying to quit his political career.

In that case at conspiring to obstruct justice on his filthy, lawless, seditious and un American behalf, Gaetz should be put in prison for no less than 20 years, especially for disgracing Congress in a despicable act of using taxpayer money to fund his lifestyle of federal crimes against against humanity and of course sedition at violating his oath with U.S. Constitutional law and betraying his trust with society.

As easy as it is to believe the cretin Gaetz is a perverted pedophile, he could prove definitively that he isn't and then I'd believe him.
