I don't think America is like that anymore. The Gaetz report will never see the light of day. Not sure why but it won't. The only thing that will help is if it is "leaked" which may still happen, but I'm not holding out hope.
After yesterday and Jack Smith dropping all the cases against Trump, I'm beginning to realize that America has started to "phase out" the whole "justice" thing. It's always been biased for the rich and powerful but now they aren't even trying to act like it's worth hiding that fact anymore.
The powerful will do whatever excesses they like for as long as they like and then shuffle off into the sunset. No responsibility, no personal accountablity.
The sins of this nation will be born by those at the bottom who will be incarcerated for the slightest crime and whose sentences will be built up and bulked up by attorneys general with their amazing range of powers and the poor will continue to be the fodder that feeds the machine.
