Secondly, recet data is showing that democrats are more motivated to turn out then Republicans. In the last four primaries the total turn out of Democrats was substantially more then Republicans. That was particularly shocking in Kentucky where only about 350, 000 Repubs showed up to 500,000 Dems in what is a seriously Republican State.

Yea, if Obama allows the oil spill to kidnap his administration he could go down the path of Carter. I have a sneaky hunch that won't happen. It will boil down to jobs and weather or not the Repubs can find a viable candidate and the later seems pretty questionable at the moment.

Can someone explain to me why Harding is always ranked as bad? Considering that he inherited a massive recession and died with America's economy booming, proved himself a civil libertarian by pardoning Debbs, was a peacemaker, and whose only real flaw was being a poor judge of character. Harding was in many ways a lot like Clinton, as he had sexual scandals of his own and was a boomtime and postwar president.
