A few years ago locally, a POS that pulled a gun on police was shot to death by the police. His family complained that the police shot the POS and threatened to sue. The local sheriff was on TV explaining how things work. He said that it's a simple concept that if you point a gun at one of his officers they were going to shoot.

On top of the drug delirium, Floyd was in respiratory distress from either the Fentanyl and/or his heart was going out. And don’t forget COVID—Floyd may have been symptomatic on top of every thing else. Dude was a walking medical disaster looking for a place to happen.

Cops failed to recognize it—end of story. The knee-neck restraint may have exacerbated things—and it may not have even mattered.

The next disaster will be the trial.

I doubt there is a trial. Chauvin is innocent but he can't take a chance with a jury. He'll plead to manslaughter and do couple years. Hope i'm wrong. I'd like to see a trail and the media lies exposed.

How were the cops supposed to know he was having a medical episode?

They aren't EMT's.

The way things are going, the cops will have to be accompanied by an ambulance on every call.

A judge can nullify a jury verdict if he sees that it was grossly in error.

If the defense has half a brain between them, they'll get the trial moved to the most conservative region in the state simialr to the way OJ's attorneys got his trial moved to downtown Los Angeles.

Try to get a judge with a pro-cop record.
