What does Guno have to do with your retarded assertion that race is a biological fact because "millions of people believe in race"?
If Race doesn't exist, African Americans shouldn't exist.
They should just be Americans & assimilate with other Americans.
That's a problem of race denial too.
It supports the extinction of African Americans.
Care to field that one?
Again, race is a human sociological construct and has no scientific basis. Only racists want to make it real.
Race may be a made up construct if we wish to describe it as such, Owl, but genetic traits are very real.
Being of Sicilian heritage, I probably have trace amounts of Northern African in me, but my melanin quota wouldn't have gotten me into the James Brown band, even if I'd practiced a hell of a lot more than I ever did,
Race is the equivalent of breed. Every breed of dog, for example, is the exact same species; but they have genetic attributes that make them easy to tell apart.
Liberals try too hard to make race irrelevant.
Like whomever you want to like.
Socialize with whomever you like to socialize.
Just remember that basic human respect has to be forfeited, not earned, and be cognizant of everybody's personal rights.
Liberal try much too hard to be liberal, and it makes everybody self-conscious.
Scientifically race is not valid; humans do not have sub-species, and that fact has nothing to do with my political POV. Note that the wannabe-Polish boy is attempting to argue that it IS real in order to assign superiority to himself, and inferiority to others not like himself. That is the hallmark of a racist and a science-denier.
I suppose "breed" would be a valid substitute for "race." But I suspect that you'll find a lot of outrage if you trying using that publicly. Imagine if a talking head on the news referred to VP Harris as "an Indian and Jamaican mixed breed." lol
Nice work, Doctor Owl.
Like all species, homo sapiens are marked by small random genetic mutations, but none of it constitutes divergence into subspecies or the artificial construct of races.
Homo sapiens are so closely related to each other that our genetic variation as a species is less than the genetic variation found in onion plants.
You don't think that American blacks are "assimilated"?
African-Americans have their own *culture* in the United States. If a group from, say, St. Louis were to travel to Windhoek in Namibia, they would feel like fish out of water. Although their skin color would be somewhat similar to the residents of Windhoek, their cultures would be totally different. Same as if you were to travel to Warsaw and try to fit in.
Again, race is a human sociological construct and has no scientific basis. Only racists want to make it real.
yet we knw of at least 8 different human species that have existed
1. Homo neanderthalensis (“Man from the Neander Valley”): Also known as Neanderthals, these humans lived in western Asia and Europe. ...
2. Home erectus (“Upright Man”): These humans lived in eastern Asia for almost 2 million years, making them likely to be the longest-living human species ever. ...
3. Homo soloensis (“Man from the Solo Valley”): These humans lived in the tropics of what is now Java, Indonesia.
4. Homo floresiensis: Also in Indonesia, on the island of Flores, these humans were dwarfs. ...
5. Homo denisova: A human species discovered in 2010 in the Denisova Cave in Siberia.
6. & 7. Homo rudolfensis (“Man from Lake Rudolf”) and Homo ergaster (“Working Man”): Both evolved from humanity’s birthplace in East Africa.
8. Homo sapiens (“Wise Man”): Us. Our species of man also evolved in East Africa.

No its me just noting there are several species of humans. Its not a tangent .My post specially said homo sapien sapiens, in recognition there are extinct archaic human species.
That is a tangent which has nothing to do with what I wrote
Nice work, Bobby. You can cut and paste!
Our species, H. sapiens sapiens, lived at the same time as at least 7-8 other hominin species, some of whom we interbred with. We carry some of their DNA in our own genome, along with DNA from a yet unidentified other species. So far Neanderthal, Florensian, and Denisovan DNA has been identified in various modern human populations. The fourth one has yet to be discovered.

Races are not subspecies of the human species. There is only one “race”—the human race. So why can't we sort humans into subspecies like we can with other animals? The answer is that the human species doesn't have much genetic variation.Feb 14, 2018You clearly don't understand sub species AKA race.
As Dawkins has pointed out by Animal sub species there would also be Human sub species.

Coyotes aren’t a subspecies of dogs, they are a separate species, discernible by third DNA.Lol, yet Dogs vs Wolves lack genetic variation.
Presumably Coyote sub species lack far more genetic variance than Human races.
Given that some Coyote sub species developed in just several hundred years.
