LOL Beefy you get the fuck real. When Card told Bush the second plane had hit the second tower no one knew what the threat was. The protocol for Bush was just as he explained it and it's entirely plausable and realistic for his actions to be based on the thinking and logic he stated!

WHAT??? There is NO protocol that calls for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States of America when told 'America is under attack' and as you unwittingly hammer home:'no one knew what the threat was' to sit like a dog turd on the lawn!

Yeah there IS protocol as you sit in a classroom full of 7 year olds and see the press getting the news feeds and knowing that cameras are running and that reacting to your anger might be the WRONG thing to do! That allowing your people to get everything ready to roll as THEY are trained to do in order to have a seemless transition into action.

You are a liberal cheerleader who thinks he could have handled it better. That somehow you know what should have happened...the facts are these- you don't, he did.

George W. Bush made many mistakes while in office, but criticizing his reaction on 9/11 is a low blow. Like everyone else that morning, he was undoubtedly in a state of shock. He needed time to process it, to decide the best course of action, without acting rashly. Guaranteed if Gore were President he would have reacted the same way, and you wouldn't be posting this petty, childish critique.

From my perspective, and obviously that of most Americans (considering Bush's approval rating hovered at around 90% at the time), Bush demonstrated excellent leadership qualities during the aftermath of 9/11.

That is an insane bunch of gibberish and a childish pile of crap. How old ARE you? Bush was not on live TV. There is only one video of him in the classroom and it was a recording not a feed.

You talk like the whole thing was a sitcom...AMERICANS WERE DYING while Bush sat their like a dog turd! That is not 'protocol' for any human being, much less the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

If Air Force fighters had to be scrambled and a US commercial airliner racing at 600 mph had to shot down WHO would be the one to make that decision...the fucking press?
