People respected McCain, but, I was always surprised by how personally unlikeable people found Romney to be (Mormonism and the 47% comment helped that negative image a bit).

Or you know people are just not into the whole free trade + trickle down thing anymore.

The saddest thing about this is that trickle down actually worked. The rich got their tax breaks and then proceeded to invest the money and create jobs. Exactly like designed. It just so happened that the jobs they created were in another country which is why they caught up. If you included some protectionism in the mix they may have actually invested in the country itself and you wouldnt be in the position you are now.

How will we ever undo Obamacare while Obama is in office? He will never sign legislation to eliminate his signature achievement. How many times have Republicans voted to undo it? It's not like they haven't tried.

His all white party he's referring to are the working middle class which is what Trump's campaign is for and about. We The people .. who have, in record numbers placed Donald Trump in position to get the GOP nomination.

That said I am still not voting for Trump. Maybe if he commits to putting Ted Cruz on the Supreme Court in place of Scalia

By lowering taxes on corporations. Thee dee and cwacko will claim he wont do it. Trump will make deals with corporations then penalize them if they flee to foreign interests.

This type of Hamiltonian economics has worked well in the past and it is perfectly constitutional and effective. it will, in reality, begin the process of rebuilding our industrial, technological base and bring back employment for millions of Americans and make the country self sufficient again.

That's the bill of goods you're buying into man. That somehow Trump is this almighty and all powerful that businesses will stop off shoring at the fear of his presence like he is the Chinese head of the communist party who has total control.

It's numbers man. The older white working class is shrinking. A party geared towards that is not one that will win a national election nor have much of a future.
