George Will leaving Republican Party

its liberal propaganda to say there's a white only party out there somewhere.......

Really? The American Freedom Party (formerly the American Third Position Party or A3P) is a third position American political party that promotes white nationalism.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP] In November 2009 it filed papers to get on a ballot in California, and was launched in January 2010.[SUP][5][/SUP] According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, it was created to channel the right-wing populist resentment engendered by the financial crisis of 2007–2010 and the policies of the Obama administration.[SUP][6][/SUP]

You watch but don't do anything about it.

Perhaps if you and other republicans of good faith and good conscience had done something about it sooner you wouldn’t now be dealing with the likes of Trump.

So Rana, please tell me what I do that created Trump.

I'd argue that their economic policy only concerns the very wealthy and boils down to, what's good for us is what's good for the country.

Free(er) markets have created the most economically successful and powerful planet on this country. You and Zap can pine for your socialism but it's amazing you want us to be more like Europe.

It's going to be hard to out give the don. Just think of all the things he's promised and never said one word about how any of it is going to be paid for. Except for the southern border wall. It won't be built and Mexico is not going to pay for any part of it being built at any time. You can bet on that. Quite the character, that don.

To each his own and I'm not going to lose any sleep over Will leaving but I definitely understand his feelings and frustrations. I'm watching my party turn into a whites only, blue collar dominated, nationalistic party that is going to have trouble winning any national elections going forward. Clearly some people like it. I don't happen to be one of them.

'This Is Not My Party': George Will Goes from GOP to Unaffiliated

Conservative columnist George Will told PJM he has officially left the Republican Party and urged conservatives not to support presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump even if it leads to a Democratic victory in the 2016 presidential election.

Will, who writes for the Washington Post, acknowledged it is a “little too late” for the Republican Party to find a replacement for Trump but had a message for Republican voters.

“Make sure he loses. Grit their teeth for four years and win the White House,” Will said during an interview after his speech at a Federalist Society luncheon.

Will said he changed his voter registration this month from Republican to “unaffiliated” in the state of Maryland.

“This is not my party,” Will said during his speech at the event.

He mentioned House Speaker Paul Ryan’s (R-Wis.) endorsement of Trump as one of the factors that led him to leave the party.

Will, a Fox News contributor, said a “President Trump” with “no opposition” from a Republican-led Congress would be worse than a Hillary Clinton presidency with a Republican-led Congress.

Will did not say if he would vote for the Libertarian Party nominee, former Gov. Gary Johnson (R-N.M.), telling the crowd he does not know whether or not the Libertarian ticket is going to help or hurt Clinton.

George who?

Show everyone where Democrats have stated "vote for me and have the 1% pay for all of your stuff".

You claim it's an "easy" google search.

It's an encapsulated catch phrase that represents the Democrats election cycles. The policies of Democrats redistribution.

But because I've been around here enough to know that you can split the finest of hairs ten ways from Sunday, I'll concede that those "exact" words weren't uttered, but the notion of vote for me and I'll give you free stuff was clear.

The liberals are bitching and moaning that Trump is using "catch phrases" and yet they swallowed "Hope and Change", without choking. :palm:

Strawman. Since when does being a Keynesian make one a socialist? Spare me the Europhobia too. There are things other nations do right. What is wrong with learning from them?

The problem we have now is not free markets economy. It's in a growing economy based on trade in which only a few profit and the rest stagnate. There is a word for that. It's called oligarchy.

So you can trot out that tired old socialist strawman all you want but the facts are I'm not a socialist but the economic policies the GOP have do advocate and support oligarchy which at this moment is a far greater threat to our free markets and general prosperity than socialism is.

I don't totally disagree with that, but Trump is the only non-oligarch in the race.

Wall Street owns Hillary.

Whoa, when did this inner Donald Trump come out in you? Anti trade?

only thing i can say to that is there is some evidence that trump is a traitor to his class while hillary is with them through and through.
the only way to know that for sure is to elect him and see what happens. I'm not inclined to take that gamble.
